Core values or guiding principles of RightsNOW Pakistan are deeply held beliefs, highest priorities, and fundamental forces. RightsNOW Pakistan works on protection of human rights and human rights defenders, who play important role in the protection of human rights of community and individuals. It works on protection of the of religious minorities, women rights, and children.
» Question # 6: What human rights issue does RightsNOW Pakistan work on?
Prevention of disappearances, torture, honor killing, , Extra-judicial Killings and protection of human rights of vulnerable groups including religious minorities.
» Question # 7: What should be done? What will RightsNOW Pakistan do to reduce violence, protect human rights and tolerance and establish peaceful and nonviolent society?
   • By building capacity of local individuals and organizations to use nonviolent strategies (sit ins, hunger strikes, boy-cots, rallies etc) to reduce violence
   By educating people on nonviolence, human rights, tolerance, pluralism and religious harmony
   • By monitoring human rights situation in isolated and remote area of the province and report it to national, they do not act, then international mechanisms
   • Promoting citizen journalism and social media in 23 district of Pakistan
   • Creating space for democratic dialogue and accommodation for dissent
   • Education and training of police on human rights and nonviolence
» Question # 8: How does RightsNOW Pakistan works on human rights issues in Pakistan?
It also monitors human rights situation in isolated, remote areas of Sindh province, report human rights violations and report to the local and national authorities for redress. It reports to international community if national authorities are unable or unwilling to act. RightsNOW Pakistan also monitors the performance of the Government of Pakistan against its responsibilities and obligation it has made to the international community.
